acpitool-dbg software package provides command line ACPI client (debug), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install acpitool-dbg
acpitool-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the acpitool-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep acpitool-dbg *
You will get with acpitool-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
